- KDVS RECORDINGS is a record label. Not just any label. As far as we know, we're the only university-funded non-profit record label in the entire USA. KDVS*R is a division of KDVS 90.3FM in Davis, a forty year-old non-commercial free-form beacon operating from underneath the UC Davis campus in northern California. Our ultimate goal is a complete in-house operation from recording (digitally or by 8-track reel to reel), mixing and mastering, to artwork, packaging and distribution. In so doing, we hope to contribute to a consistent, thriving musical community in Davis and Sacramento.
